Today is the last chance to get your entries in for the 2021 Lydiard Millicent Village Show. So, head over to details on how to enter, if you haven’t already.
Things may be a bit different this year, but we’re hoping the entries will form a snapshot of how we came together as a community during Lockdown. And offer a space for reflection.
So far, we’ve got some great entries. But we’d really like more to show case the parish.
Hopefully, next year, we’ll be back in the flesh. (All those cake photos are making us feel very hungry!), But, in the meantime, we hope the virtual show will give you an opportunity to get creative and enjoy sharing your projects. Lockdown has been a long hard slog, but there are positives: discovering local walks, less traffic, rewilding. And, of course, the return of the Village Show.
After entries close today, our team of brilliant judges (thank you) will be pouring over your entries. Judging will take place during the weekend, and we’ll be posting entries on the website and to social media then. With *drumroll* the winners being announced on Bank Holiday Monday.
Entering is really easy. Honestly. There are full details on the website. It basically involves just taking a photo of your entry and emailing it to us, and we’ll do the rest.
If you’d like to enter but aren’t sure about how to upload and email your image, or need any help generally, then just get in touch today. Or ask a friend or neighbour to help.
