Class theme: Amazing lockdown bakes
Class code: BOSR
Please include this code in your email subject header when you enter
The nation went crazy for baking during the first lockdown, flour was in incredibly short supply, and you couldn't buy yeast for love nor money!
Did you bake a banana bread, start a sourdough or turn your hand to prize winning pies? Maybe you made a birthday cake for the first time in years and were surprised at how enjoyable it was! Whatever your bake, sweet, savoury, show-stopping, or more about the taste we'd love to see it. Or maybe you've been inspired by this years Virtual Village Show and want to create a special bake to enter?
Please submit a photograph of your entry as a .jpeg or .pdf smaller than 10MB. For the technically minded it would really help if entries were 72dpi and a maximum of 1000 pixels in the largest direction.
Please email your Lockdown Bake Off Bakes entries to firstname.lastname@example.org
Don't forget to include the class number, BOSR in the email header, and include your name, and if you'd like, a brief description of your bake and how it came about.
Entries are FREE and you can enter as many times as you'd like - we just ask that each entry is made in a separate email and that all entries have been created since March 2020.
We are hoping to collate entries into this year's Village Show into a permanent record of how the Coronavirus pandemic affected the lives of those connected to The Parish of Lydiard Millicent. If you do not want your work included in this project you can still enter the Show, but please let us know.
Depending on type and number of entries, this category may be split further.
